- "Godot" (obvious reference to the play by Beckett in the title of the post), and
- "Potiche" (a gorgeous but stupid - "un peu con" - girl).

thanks for all the help, tout le monde.
have we come to a final conclusion on this topic? i did think that it was a play on WAITING FOR GODOT, and that "godiche" was slang for god somehow, but i couldn't make out how. i found "clumsy" online, but it still didn't make sense to me.
sharky/pulsar - are you both perfectly bilingue? nice!
